| Job Description |
: Our client is looking for a fulltime Hardware Engineer, this client is providing relocation assistance, please apply if interested.
The successful candidate will assume technical responsibilities in the development and transitioning of instrumentation to commercial systems. Duties will include assuming lead and/or working as part of a multi-disciplinary team for various development projects, system and sub-system level design and testing, report generation, and customer support. At a minimum candidate will have a proven track record in electronic design including experience with embedded systems (firmware, FPGA development, micro-controllers, state machines, DSPs), and analog and digital design. Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog programming languages is required. Experience with Xilinx or Altera devices, and Synplify, ModelSIM, and other FPGA development tools is an advantage. Exceptional troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience using test equipment and current prototyping techniques a must. Experience with state-of-the-art rapid prototyping tools, and proficiency in C/C++ programming languages in embedded and PC environments is highly desirable. Occasional travel is required.
B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience is desired. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical innovation, initiative, and hands-on skills. A demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team is required. Strong problem solving skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to represent the company in a positive manner are a must.
U.S Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
