Scope
Design and implement a comprehensive suite of control and analysis tools whose aim is to monitor and maintain the proper health of a large-scale computing system.
Qualifications
Proven full software development life cycle experience
3-5 years experience developing complete applications in C/C++
Proven experience developing C/C++ database applications using a major DB API: MySQL, PostgreSQL, dBase, DB2, SQLite, eSQL, etc.
Proven experience developing GUI interfaces in C/C++ with a major GUI package: wxWidgets, Qt, GTK+, MFC, etc.
Proven experience writing applications from algorithms and/or numerical recipes
BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering
Computer architecture oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
Flexibility and willingness to adapt easily to evolving requirements
Ability to work independently to solve difficult problems and implement solutions |
